About the Band:
Made up of four skilled and versatile musicians, Funkcity are slick, confident and ready to entertain. Their four-piece ‘electric’ band is sure to bring high energy and a party atmosphere to your event; covering Pop, Dance, current and Classic Rock, Soul and Disco. Funkcity also offer the unique opportunity to book their four-piece ‘acoustic’ band which adds a Folk-Pop twist on to many popular hits and is perfect if you’re holding an outdoor event or just want to recreate that festival atmosphere.
All being highly-trained musicians, the band can provide a stunning Jazz set filled with a mix of well known Jazz Standards and Classic Jazz-versions of popular songs. Their Jazz set would be ideal for sophisticated dinner entertainment or a Summer garden party. As If that wasn’t enough, Funkcity can also provide an acoustic duo or trio which would perfectly suit a more intimate event such as a Wedding drinks reception.
Finally, he may able to shred through Bon Jovi and Journey, but you also get the option to book some beautiful classical guitar from the band’s guitarist to wow your guests. Lamenting through well known classical arrangements, this option is ideal for a wedding ceremony or during an evening meal.
